My PC was starting to run slower and the hour glass would appear to extended period of time, the PC was starting to drive me nuts.
I’ve learnt from experience that my PC needs a rebuild roughly ever 12 months, I took note of how long this took me last time I did it.
It was 12 hours of saving files, making a list of all the programs that I had loaded, then formatting the hard driver and reloading all the programs CD by CD and waiting for the programs to reload.
Now the 12 hours was actually time, I left the alone whilst it was loading programs, then walk by and hit the OK button and enter data when needed.
So the time from start to finish, I would start Friday night and be finished Sunday night, just in time to use it again Monday morning [I'm self employed].
I thought I take it to the PC repair place and outsource it, that only really saved me 50% of the time as they only reload the Operating System, I had to reload Office and all the other programs.
Solution:
System Mechanic has saved me a lot of time and headache by fixing problems with it system scan.
I no longer tolerating a slow system and I have not rebuilt the PC for 2 years [fingers crossed].
My wife started experiencing the same problems and asked if I could rebuild her PC. I bought another copy of System Mechanic to get out of the job.
Recommend: 5 star, huge time saving tool.

The bonus Iolo AntiVirus could not be installed on any of the 3 computers I used because the software did not recognize the installation code that came on the disc sleeve. I have attemped to email customer service on 3 different occasions, and have gotten no response. Their website was no help either. I have since uninstalled System Mechanic because I starting having some ‘freezing’ issues on the computers using it. Don’t waste your time or money.
