When that license expired I tried to purchase a new one and can't since based on my IP address, the website takes me to a website in a diferent language. So I found that Amazon had the product and I purchased it. When I went to activate the product... it won't work. So I contacted ESET customer support and they replied, but had obviously no read my message. I gave up after 3 message attempts. So now I'm left with software that I can't use. <br /> <br />Needless to say I was excited based on the trial, and not thrilled at all based on my experience. After 10 days of use it eliminated some malware, etc. on the 2 full scans I ran. Last night I was checking emails and a big red warning came up saying it had blocked an attempt to access my system. I closed out of the email and hit my IE icon and my home page had been hijacked. Now I can only access limited internet accounts (the ones the spyware/virus leads me to), programs have disappeared, the My Computer icon has vanished, cannot access system restore, the C drive is no longer accessible, and on and on and on. Fortunately, the ESET icon is available and I ran 3 full in-depth system scans and it didn't pick up ANYTHING! If you want to waste your money, buy this product. <br /> <br />If you enjoy buying a new plasma TV and not having a picture for 3 years, buy this product. If you have any common sense, stay as far away as possible from ESET and any of their anti-virus products. It will save you a lot of grief, time, and money to have anti-viral software to be installed professionally if you do not already know how to do so.
